Chi di voi è rimasto in contatto durante il tour estivo dei The Killers, sa che è una delle nuove canzoni più suonate prima della pubblicazione dell’ultimo lavoro, Battle Born.
Miss Atomic Bomb (che era già da tempo in prima fila come secondo singolo del disco, dopo Runaways, uscita come anteprima del nuovo disco) ha da oggi un “Tour video”, un video non ufficiale che racconta il tour estivo della band, girato e diretto da Giorgio Testi (italianissimo director, un’eccellenza del nostro paese nel genere, considerando la nomination ai Grammy 2010 e le tante collaborazioni con band di grande calibro, fra cui, oltre ai Killers, i Blur) durante la British Leg del tour di “anteprima” di Battle Born.
La canzone è stata l’unico inedito presentato durante l’unica tappa italiana del gruppo americano del tour: a Villafranca (nel primo giorno dell’A Perfect Day Festival), infatti, lo slot del secondo inedito (Runaways venne suonata in apertura ma era già stata pubblicata da oltre due mesi), venne riempito da Bones, eseguita per la prima volta nel tour e per la prima volta senza il compianto Tommy Marth, sassofonista turnista dei Killers suicidatosi qualche mese fa.
