Dopo due anni di pausa, tornano gli American Music Awards, i prestigiosi premi musicali americani votati interamente dal pubblico. L’edizione 2025, che si terrà a Las Vegas il 26 maggio, vede Kendrick Lamar in vetta alle nomination con ben 10 candidature, tra cui Artist of the Year, Album of the Year e Song of the Year con il brano “Not Like Us”.

Con l’album GNX e collaborazioni di alto profilo, Kendrick si conferma protagonista assoluto del 2025. In corsa anche nella categoria Collaboration of the Year con SZA per il brano “Luther”, è presente anche con due canzoni in gara per Favorite Hip Hop Song.
